Fighting Elder Abuse

When the people you trust to take care of your elderly family members betray that trust, it can be difficult to know where to turn for help. I will do everything in my power to obtain justice for you and your loved ones if you are struggling to end physical or mental abuse or nursing home neglect.

Protecting Your Wishes

With age often comes more serious medical problems. A living will can allow you to make your wishes known about end-of-life care. Similarly, a healthcare power of attorney outlines who you want to make medical decisions if you become unable to communicate your desires in the future.

You can also establish a financial power of attorney to name the person you want to be able to make financial and real estate decisions on your behalf. I will help you structure your powers of attorney to meet your needs.

Establishing Guardianships

If an elderly person has a current power of attorney, there is no need for a guardianship. However, if someone you care about has become incapacitated without a power of attorney, I will help you request guardianship of the person or of the estate from the court.
